Alabama Will Pursue Capital Murder Indictment Against Gabe Watson

The Attorney General of Alabama,Troy King, is preparing his office to find a way to obtain a murder indictment on Gabe Watson, who recently plead guilty of manslaughter for the death of his new wife in Australia.

met this morning with his staff of investigators and prosecutors and instructed them to immediately begin gathering the facts and compiling the evidence for presentation to an Alabama grand jury seeking a capital murder indictment.

The Attorney General is understandably disappointed in the fact that Gabe Watson will only end up serving about a year for the murder of his new wife.

Attorney General King stated that it is his intention to "get in Alabama what Tina and her family did not get in Australia – justice."
