Alex Salmond flew into Nigg Fabrication yard at Easter Ross on Tuesday as part of the SNP commitment to alternative energy production and to support the local economy through direct jobs.


As part of the campaign trail, Mr Salmond surveyed the plant, earmarked for mixed use production.


Roy MacGregor of global energy group was there to welcome Mr Salmond and discuss future plans for the site.
