Alexandra Kerry, Daughter Of Senator John Kerry, Arrested For DUI
Alexandra Forbes Kerry, the 36-year-old daughter of U.S. Senator and the 2004 Democratic Presidential nominee John Kerry, has been arrested for Driving Under Influence (DUI) in Los Angeles early Thursday morning. Kerry was busted when she was pulled over for a traffic violation. She was brought to the Hollywood police station and is now out on $5,000 bail.
Cops tell us Alexandra violated a traffic law which got their attention. They then conducted a field sobriety test and it appeared she was under the influence of an intoxicant. She was then placed under arrest. At that point, cops asked her to take a preliminary alcohol screening test in the field, but she refused.
Alexandra Kerry's mother Julia Thorne divorced John Kerry when Alexandra was 15 years old. Alexandra Kerry has a degree in anthropology from Brown University. Recently, she tried her hand at film directing, producing a short film The Last Full Measure that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. Kerry is currently overseeing the production of a few documentaries. She has also appeared in episodes of movies Spartan, Mister Sterling, and State and Main.
Senator John Kerry has yet to react to the news of his daughter's arrest. His spokespeople and Twitter feed are silent regarding the issue so far.
