A young girl's body was found on Tuesday but police could not identify the body at the scene and would not say if it was the missing 14-year-old Alicia DeBolt. After an autopsy conducted in Wichita, using dental records, police have now confirmed the sad news that Alicia DeBolt has been found dead. They are not saying how she died, only admitting that the body had been burned.

According to the Great Bend Tribune, police are saying that they do not believe her death was a random killing, but they do not have any suspects or any persons of interest at this time.

Alicia DeBolt went missing on Saturday when she left her family home in Great Bend to attend a party with a 19-year-old male.

The investigation is ongoing. Funeral details have not been made at this time.
