The seven German, one British and one South Korean nationals who were reported kidnapped in Yemen on June 14 are most likely dead according to the German National Security Agency.

Three dead are officially confirmed by now, however, the identity has not been revealed. According to unverified sources the three confirmed death are two female German nationals and a female South Korean national.

The German National Security Agency assumes that Al-Qaeda is responsible for the kidnapping. Yet official contact has never been made between the kidnappers and the German government. Also South Korean and British authorities have not received any randsom demands.
