All liberals have left is their vote
When I voted for Obama I was all in. I gave and I gave until I couldn’t give anymore. I turned down calls from cancer societies, firemen, policemen, and organizations of all kinds to march to the tune of David Plouffe. Now, I want results.
I don’t want to create a new party. Most people that I know don’t either. They want performance from what they have. Starting something new is too hard and it splinters the organization at hand. Cohesiveness is one characteristic that Democrats have over Republicans at the moment. Yet, Democrats are known for self-destruction.
The “One Nation” movement might be an effective poke at the White House, but, for me, they’ll have to do it on fumes.
“With 'One Nation,' liberal groups aim to match tea party's energy, influence
Washington Post Staff Writer
Friday, July 9, 2010; 4:21 PMIf imitation is the highest form of flattery, the "tea party" movement must be honored.
In an effort to replicate the tea party's success, 170 liberal and civil rights groups are forming a coalition that they hope will match the movement's political energy and influence. They promise to "counter the tea party narrative" and help the progressive movement find its voice again after 18 months of floundering.
The large-scale attempt at liberal unity, dubbed "One Nation," will try to revive themes that energized the progressive grassroots two years ago. In a repurposing of Barack Obama's old campaign slogan, organizers are demanding "all the change" they voted for -- a poke at the White House.
But the liberal groups have long had a kind of sibling rivalry, jostling over competing agendas and seeking to influence some of the same lawmakers. In forming the coalition, the groups struggled to settle on a name. Even now, two of the major players disagree about who came up with the idea of holding a march this fall.”

I wrote an article a few weeks ago about Obama's Payola Government. Every time you turn around, you get an email asking for $25 or more -- every time they do their job they ask for another nickel -- it is truly a nickel and dime operation.

Yeah, that's been my experience as well. Now I do more editorials and letters than giving money.
One thing that's really needed if there is to be such a thing as this One Nation movement is a truth squad against all the lies that the Right comes up with, for which lying the Right is just as famous as Democrats are for self-destruction. I hope someone is working on that, if not I am willing to help out.
