NP Rank:
Ambassador Sean Penn
I like Sean Penn and I share his political affinity. He is a smart fellow with a lot of money. That qualifies him to 1) be an ambassador like Jon Huntsman, 2) run for political office, 3) be a self-appointed ambassador at large for liberal points of view.
“Sean Penn calls Prince William's deployment to Falkland Islands 'unthinkable'
Sean Penn has continued his attack on Britain over the Falkland Islands, calling the Duke of Cambridge's deployment "unthinkable".

The Hollywood actor accused Britain of insensitivity for sending Prince William to the disputed islands claimed by Argentina.
Speaking in Uruguay having met President Jose Mujica, Penn repeatedhis assertion made in Argentina on Monday that Britain's stance over the Falklands was "colonialist, ludicrous and archaic".
"My oh my, aren't people sensitive to the word colonialism, particularly those who implement colonialism," said the double Oscar winner.
"It's unthinkable that the United Kingdom can make a conscious decision to deploy a prince within the military to the Malvinas, knowing the great emotional sensitivity both of mothers and fathers in the United Kingdom and in Argentina who lost sons and daughters in a war of islands with a population of so few.
"There are many places to deploy the prince. It's not necessary, when the deployment of a prince is generally accompanied by warships, to send them into the seas of such shared blood."
Prince William is spending six weeks on the islands as part of another "routine deployment" in his role as Flight Lieutenant Wales, an RAF search-and-rescue helicopter pilot.
The Argentine foreign ministry has complained that the heir to the British throne would arrive wearing "the uniform of a conqueror".
Penn, a champion of left wing causes, said he was proud of the alliance between America and Britain, but insisted on "the need for Argentina and Britain to negotiate the sharing of the islands' natural resources".”

Jim, the man is in love with Chavez.
Come on, all the points you made above qualifies him to be in the same group as all the rest of the political idiots running the country. This includes the opposition.

LOL. tikun you will soon learn that YJ has no sense of political balance. The right side of YJ has been completely paralyzed through self-hypnosis. Sean Penn is one more of these knee-jerk progressives who can't or wont allow that while castigating Britain for having colonial sin -Argentina is equally guilty. More so, in my books because they are the whining losers of a sneak attack against the people of the Falklands. The Argentinian government now flaunt themselves as the victim but, make possession claims in the name of Argentina long before there was a Argentina and while a colony of Spain. Secondly, Argentina's territorial acquisitions have been violently brutal against the indigenous peoples. Not the best foundation for crying victim. Hypocrites. Not that one expects Sean Penn to be cognizant of these discrepancies or that any factual errors on his part would diminish him in the eyes of YJ. Now if Sean Penn was a conservative or God forbid a Republican. YJ's article would have a completely different take on both Penn and Argentinian claims on the Falklands. Most certainly, Penn would not meet YJ's very malleable criteria for who in his mind should be running the country. LOL.

Ah. I get it LA LA LAND is the center of the universe. Every actor deserves to be a politician it just helps clarify that they are in fact ACTORS.
