A disturbing story out of Baltimore serves as an example of the perils of social media. A video of a 14-year-old allegedly having sex has spread on the internet via Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

The video allegedly shows young Amber Cole performing oral sex on her boyfriend while being filmed. The alleged Amber Cole sextape appears to have been posted online without her knowledge. The girl's father told a local TV station that the teenage girl didn't even know she was being taped.

Links to the Amber Cole video spread like wildfire even though distributing such links could be illegal.

There were even reports that Amber Cole committed suicide.

As mentioned, the Amber Cole video features an underage girl so there are plenty of moral and legal reasons to stay away.
