Well, it appears that everything has changed, but nothing has changed in the United States Military.

According to the Air Force Times.com Sen. John McCain enjoys overwhelming support from the military’s professional core, though race appears to be a decisive factor for career-oriented black service members, a Military Times survey of nearly 4,300 readers indicates.

Nearly eight out of 10 black service members indicated they intend to vote for Obama despite his lack of military service and despite McCain’s record as a naval aviator and prisoner of war in Vietnam.

“I’m going to vote for Barack Obama,” said Marine Gunnery Sgt. Derrick Pipkin, a heavy equipment chief with the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing in Miramar, Calif., and a black man who said he served seven months in Iraq in 2005.

It appears that Blacks and Whites are planning to vote with segregated voting patterns.

AAPPundit, I like this story. It's good stuff.  8 out of 10 Blacks voting Obama is not far from the 9-10 Blacks Nation wide voting for Obama  I wonder what MLK (a Republican) would say since that many Whites are voting for Obama but Blacks continue to Vote along race and party lines.

It was Republican that Emacepated the Slaves, It was Republicans who were against the Jim Crow and Poll taxes, It was Democrats who stood in from of schools trying to keep Blacks out (Wallace). It was  President Eisenhower also appointed Chief Justice Warren who overturned Brown vs. Board of Education.

Kennedy voted against the Civil rights Act while a senator. Attorney General  Kennedy, wiretapped MLK investigating him by the FBI on suspicion of being a Communist.

Senator Byrd, called MLK a "trouble-maker" who starts trouble, but runs like a coward. Dr. King was Killed in Memphis shortly after.

In conclusion, I wonder why Black American's coninue to support a party who has done little but make promises every election season and then they end up never doing better for doing so.

Obama doesn't seem to be concerned about the poor.  if you noticed he is always talking about the Middle class.
