Baltimore - June 19, 2003: This plane was originally delivered as the first L-1011 purchased by Delta Airlines on October 3, 1973, registered N701DA. At the time of this photo, it was operated by American Trans Air for military charters but was retired from use just weeks after this photo was taken, and stored in Roswell, New Mexico where it was eventually broken up and scrapped.
