Pictures of Amy Beck are Scarce on the Web as Beck Remains in Jail

Amy Beck, the 33-year-old teacher who is currently in jail for allegedly having sex with one of her students who was just 14-years-old at the time, has decided to remain in jail while the details of her case are still being worked out. As she has not been released and she voluntarily turned herself in to police on Monday, there are not many photos of the teacher on the web.

CBS has one black and white photo of Amy Beck, and The Burbank Leader has one photo of her taken in 2009 at an on-campus Greek party. That is the picture that is most seen on the web.

The pictures of her do not reveal much; merely a smiling face of a young teacher at the beginning of her career who is no doubt an attractive woman to many. She said she was so wracked with guilt at what she had done however, that she had to turn herself in to police and confess - now her story has gone national.

Amy Beck is charged with allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old student at David Starr Jordan Middle School. The student is no longer at the school.

The students and staff at David Starr Jordan Middle School are still dealing with the fall-out of the case and the shock that accompanies the notice that one of their well-respected teachers could be involved with such a situation.

Amy Beck's husband has not given any interviews since the news was released and he has not been seen out with their three young children either. Ms. Beck has three young children, and as The Burbank Leader states in an opinion piece:

Her three children, all of elementary school age, are the truly innocent victims who, throughout this ordeal, have had to grapple with these revelations from numerous angles.
