Perhaps I am wrong in my assessment of  Burma's Ruling Junta?  Perhaps we are all Wrong!

Certainly  Patting Babies on the head in such a fatherly manner, with kisses to all the refugees should garner  this General  Father of the Year, perhaps dare I say a Nobel Prize, the very least an Oscar nod for his performance.

The world should be ashamed of themselves of vilifying such a medal encrusted grandfather of a man as he tours his death stricken country with a "full belly, clean clothes and rosy complexion" showing his countrymen that "He feels their Pain" or at least feels " Voters Remorse" in  his citizens inability to get to the polls in the event  he needs their support, support given to the refugees by the rest of the world, which he claims to be the sole provider of.

YANGON -- The leader of Myanmar's ruling junta made his first visit to a refugee camp yesterday, patting the heads of babies and shaking hands with cyclone survivors, amid growing international criticism over the government's handling of the crisis.

A senior British official hinted a breakthrough may be near to allow foreign military ships to join the relief effort.

Myanmar's state-run media lashed out at critics, detailing the regime's response. State television featured footage of junta leader Senior Gen. Than Shwe inspecting supplies and comforting victims in relatively clean rows of blue tents.

According to the report, Than Shwe travelled from the new capital, Naypyitaw, in the northern jungles, to relief camps in Yangon's suburbs.

At least 78,000 people were killed in the May 2-3 storm and 56,000 are missing.
