Andrew Leach Saves Baby Son From Out of Control Car: Video
Andrew Leach from Australia Managed to Save His Baby Son as an Out of Control Car Struck Them
In what has been described as a shocking video, Andrew Leach was caught on tape being pinned against the wall, holding his baby son as an out of control car crashed in to them.
Mr. Leach was with his parents who were also struck by the car, but all have since recovered.
The incident was aired on Australia's Nine Network on Monday, but was shot in 2008 and shows the vehicle lose control in front of a bank of shops. It is thought that the vehicle was being driven by an 82-year-old woman who may have suffered a heart attack. The car pins Mr. Leach against a store front and it is only his tight grip on his son that manages to save his life. The condition of the driver is not known.
Mr. Leach suffered a broken leg but he was ok.
"That day was the worst day of my life," Leitch said in the Nine Network report.
Mr. Leach said that he only had concerns for his son:
I thought if they hit the back of me... [I] might break a leg or whatever, that's fixable. But if they hit my son, he's not fixable," Leach said
