FDNY EMT Angus Pascall Used Fireman's Key to Carry Out Sexual Assaults, According to Police

Angus Pascall, a decorated EMT (emergency medical technician) who worked with the New York Fire Department, was arrested for a series of sexual assaults that took place at gun- or knifepoint, including the rape of an 11-year-old girl.

According to police, Pascall used a fireman's key, which provides access to subway grates and elevator doors, to carry out the attack on the little girl, which took place in an elevator in the Kingsborough Houses in Brooklyn's Crown Heights.

Angus Pascall was linked to five different rapes by DNA evidence, and was caught after a victim wrote down the license plate number of the car he was driving.

Based at East New York's EMS Station 39, Pascall was honored in 2007 at FNDY Medal Day. He had been on restricted duty for most of 2010 following his arrest in a domestic disturbance with his girlfriend.

Pascall, who had worked for the FDNY for five years, was picked out of a lineup by three victims. His DNA matched samples taken at all five sex crimes, police said.

He was charged with rape, sexual abuse, criminal sex act and child endangerment.
