The TANCET 2012 results have been announced by the Anna University at their official website www.annauniv.edu on April 28, 2012.

The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2012) was held in March 2012.

TANCET is an entrance exam conducted by Anna University for admission to it MBA, MCA and ME/ M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan courses. TANCET 2012 was held on March 31, 2012.

Anna University was established on September 4, 1978 as a unitary type of  university. It offers higher education in engineering, technology and allied sciences relevant to the current and projected needs of the society.

Besides promoting research and disseminating knowledge gained therefrom, it fosters cooperation between the academic and industrial communities.

Anna University was formed by bringing together and integrating two well-known technical institutions in the city of Madras.
