A 22-year-old Alexandria man has been charged with shooting at military buildings in the D.C. region last fall, and federal officials said in court papers that he videotaped himself shouting "Allah Akbar" after he fired shots at the U.S. Marine Corps museum.
Yonathan Melaku, a Marine Reservist, was taken into custody Friday under suspicious circumstances at Arlington National Cemetery. At the time, he carried a backpack that held plastic baggies with ammonium nitrate, a material that can be used to make a bomb as well as a notebook that included references to Osama bin Laden and "The Path to Jihad."

Al Qaeda is here in the Nation's capital. They have infiltrated the military on multiple occasions. They are among us and the source and profile is clear and consistent.

It's a shame that stupid is so revered today. There seems to be no end of the very many ways in which stupid is not only sought out, but ever willing to be expressed by converts to an idealism led by educated men and women who should know better and be a source of positive encouragement and social growth for everyone else. These institutions all, social/religious/political/economic that hold themselves sacrosanct. That the world must be altered to suit their institutionalized idealism rather than their idealism having the flexibility to generate positive change. Incremental to the natural social/religious/political/economic ebb and flow that exist when individual rights and freedoms are maintained by a just society.

Doesn't say much for American Military training. Ever notice how ineffectual all these American military "converts" are in the execution of their jihad. I mean come on. Do something spectacular at least. Taking pot shots at military museums or shooting at folks going to mess hall is hardly worth the effort of getting "inside".
