Six Decomposing Bodies Found at Serial Killer's Home!

Anthony Sowell, a convicted rapist, has been arrested in the killings of six people whose bodies were found in and around a house in Cleveland, Ohio.

"Anthony Sowell was arrested walking down the street near the 4th District Police headquarters at noon," Cleveland Police spokesman Lt. Thomas Stacho told CNN. "A tipster told officers of his whereabouts and a zone car found him and arrested him without incident."

About a month ago, a woman accused Anthony Sowell of rape and police were able to obtain a warrant to check Anthony's home.

What police found was badly decomposing bodies of two people on the third floor, and a freshly dug grave in the basement where a third body was found. Later, two more bodies were found in a crawl space and another in a grave outside the house.

Two of the bodies have been identified to be female but the rest have not been released.

Anthony Sowell was convicted of rape in 1989 and was in prison from 1990 to 2005.

He apparently makes his living as a scrapper, meaning he picks up scrap metal and sells it and is known to be a serial rapist.

What an awful story.  But thank God he has been discovered.  Thanks for posting.  I have so many cousins out in Cleavland.

This piece of work brings to mind the monster John Wayne Gacey of Chicago area fame. If he was known to be a serial rapist then the system has failed miserably even though he did his "time". Apparently, doing " time" is not the answer for these animals. Rehabilitation is out of the question for anything "serial". Sadly our justice system is still stuck on protecting the rights of criminals and not the victims of heinous crimes. As weak as this may sound he will answer to God in the end and face his final judgement.

I agree jeff ..it is a mental illness/addiction.  Creepy stuff.  Now I don't want to open the door to trick or treaters even with my dog and my Wasp spray.

and i'll second the mental illness/addiction/creepy part.

You have to wonder if sometime, anytime, they just think, "i'm going to have to answer for this some day?".

Wasp spray, QueensHart?  Man, you is one determined lady.  whoooeee, hose me down with mace or pepper gas, please     Wasp spray?  No thank you. A face full of that will have a person on the ground with all their extremities twitching - until they stop breathing.

I disagree that what caused Sowell to kill six women was a mental illness or addiction, this is excusing his behaviour.  Some reportings (like the Vancouver Sun) state that all dead were women.  I believe he hated women as a cause of patriarchal society and the general acceptance of male violence against women in society. The police failed to do their job.  Six women were killed before the police found Sowell, and they were searching for him on a different charge of rape and assault.

No sympathy

I think poor Anthony was assraped a lot when the other inmates found out he tried to rape a PREGNANT woman back in '89. He was probably angry. Very angry. Really, I don't care what's wrong with him. He just needs to die. He doesn't deserve to breathe oxygen. I want him destroyed, end of story. I consider him a waste product of nature. The only real purpose predators like Anthony have, is organ harvesting and being a test subject for science. They don't serve a real purpose. I don't regard them as people or animals. As far as I'm concerned they are useless demons inhabiting a sack of flesh. They barely live.
