Anthony Sowell Murder Case Update: 10 Bodies Found at Home

In an Anthony Sowell murder update, police now think they have found 10 bodies at his Cleveland home.

Sowell, a convicted rapist, has been charged with multiple murders, after 10 corpses were discovered, which produced a 'stench of death' in the neighborhood according to people that lived nearby.

Police plan to take Sowell's three storey house apart, as they've already found four bodies in the back yard and six in the house and the basement. They also found a skull wrapped in a paper bag stuffed in a bucket. That could be an eleventh victim.

Five of the victims have been identified as bloack women that were strangled. The others have not been identified.

This was brought to police attention when Sowell was arrested over the weekend for rape, and when police entered his home they found two bodies decomposing on the floor upstairs. Neighbors would complain about the smell but Sowell would blame it on the sausage store next door.

Along with the murders, Sowell has also been charged with five counts of rape, kidnapping and assault. More charges could follow.

Authorities were trying to match the victims' DNA to that of missing women. "In some cases, no missing person's report was made," said Cleveland Police Chief Michael McGrath.

He said Sowell cooperated with authorities initially but later requested a lawyer. "It appears he had an insatiable appetite he needed to fill," McGrath told reporters.

I pity the neighbors, living with the stench, thinking it was in the sewers or from the sausage shop. And I hope the families of missing women get some closure soon.

Hate to say it, but people like this are why there is still a death penalty.

A convicted rapist ....May the people who let him go free feel GUILTY...or be fired.

Playing with someone advertising for kinky stuff one is already a wounded soul. The hollywood ,TV and Fashion folks put Sadism , Masochism etc. into comedy plots and have women wearing black nails. Why the heck do the young think their black nails look pretty? It is every generation that contiually has to out do the other. The fashion crowd...all about , "everybody does it or experiments " is absurd. To literally go to play games with a devil one is asking to jump into hell.

There are plenty more out there just like him....at the edge....turned lose or ignored by people who do not want to be involved. "Minimilazation...

This is one SICK puppy. Obviously rehabilitation is never going to work here. Find a tall tree and a short rope and git 'er done. 6 bodies in the house??? How could ANYONE live in a house with a body in decomp, let alone SIX??!!?? This world is truly screwed up. We got this and some whacked out army major shooting up Ft. Hood. I'm afraid to see what comes next...
