Tens of thousands of people are expected to march through central London, Glasgow and Belfast today in protest against the government's austerity measures.
Labour leader Ed Miliband is among dozens of speakers due to address crowds in Hyde Park - where the London march ends.
Demonstrators want the coalition to end public service cuts and instead create policies they say can create growth.
'A Future That Works' - organised by the Trades Union Congress (TUC) - and the STUC will call on the coalition to end its policies on public sector spending and adopt an 'alternative economic strategy' that puts jobs and growth first.....Read more
