Clashes between pro and anti-government have left some 46 people injured while one person died. The state of emergency has been declared by the prime minister and Army has been deployed to the streets of Bangkok. Army chief says that force will not be used against people.
Thousad of protestors, defying the court order to end their siege, are camped on the grounds of Government house saying they will remain until the prime ministers government steps down. The protesters accuse PM of running the country on behalf of former prime minister mr. Thaksin Shinawatra who was ousted in a 2006 military coup and now in self-imposed exile amid corruption charges.
