Anti Immigration MCDC: E Mail Call to Action, Armed Border Watch

The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC), an Arizona based border watch group has disbanded after an e mail calling upon members to show up "locked, loaded and ready" produced unexpected results which the group decided it didn't wish to have to address.

The groups' leader Carmen Mercer said she and the two other members of the board of directors decided to dissolve the group, worried the e mail call to action would attract the "wrong people".

The group formed five years ago hoping to serve as a deterent to illegal immigration as the group manned the Arizona border.

On March 16, Mercer sent an e-mail urging members to come to the border "locked, loaded and ready" and urged people to bring "long arms." She proposed changing the group's rules to allow members to track illegal immigrants and drug smugglers instead of just reporting the activity to the Border Patrol.

Mercer said she received a more feverish response than she expected and decided the group couldn't shoulder the responsibility and liability of what could occur, she said.

"People are ready to come locked and loaded, and that's not what we are all about," Mercer said. "It only takes one bad apple to destroy everything we've done for the last eight years."

Ms Mercer has a brain on her head, and she seems to be able to see "the writing on the wall"

Disbanding her group was probably the smartest thing she could do for them, to keep going with that kind of message, come "locked, loaded and ready" is a call to trouble.

I would like to see a road sign depicting an elderly couple and some people in wheel chairs rinning across the highway in the direction of Mexico, if you catch my drift.

I know someone who is illegal here and use and sell drugs. her boyfriend too. Her name is Brenda Alvarez her boyfriend Luis Cortes their adress 1310 s 58th ave, cicero il, 60804. also their children sometimes are by their self one time Brenda treid to kill her son the midium one someone call the police and accion for children but to the people how they ask whats goin on get scarre and didnt said the true. please do something im scarred to, i do not know what to do. and PLEASE DO NOT SAY MY NAME. call the police or do something.
