Anti-Israel protesters clash with police

This must be the worst excuse for hatred and violence.

Dozens of anti-Israel activists clashed with police Saturday as they tried to storm a closed arena where Sweden and Israel were playing a Davis Cup tennis match.

The activists hurled rocks and firecrackers at police vans as they tried to break through the barricades set up to keep protesters from the arena. Hundreds of riot police pushed them back using truncheons.

Sweden's Left Party leader Lars Ohly told the crowd that the European Union and the rest of the world should "boycott the racist regime in Israel."

The protesters then marched toward the Baltic Hall arena, where some of them attacked the police line with eggs, rocks and firecrackers.

It is a shame when demonstrations descend into violence, often the police agitate

Sweden is being destroyed from within by their own radical Islamic element that regularly attacks the police because??? I don't know? Getting free food, clothing and shelter does not really scratch the jihad itch?

A peaceful protest against Israel is a right, but what is it that justifies violence in the name of demonstrating for peace?

We do know what causes these outbursts, though: possession by a Cardinal Sin, or maybe more than one: how about Pride, Anger ( Ire, for you literary types?) and some Sloth in the thought and self-control department just for good measure?

"Seven" was such a good film! It gets remade daily all over the world. Those idiot monks of the Middle Ages sure had some insight into human nature, and it sure was accommodating of Hollywood to put that point of view up there on the Silver Screen.!!.
