April Magolon: 'Donald Duck Groped Me at EPCOT Center'

Philadelphia mom April Magolon is suing Disney over a groping incident at the EPCOT Center theme park in Orlando, Florida. According to Magolon, a Disney employee dressed as Donald Duck grabbed her breast while she tried to get an autograph for her kids.

According to the lawsuit, the employee "proceeded to grab Plaintiff April Magolon's breast and molest her and then made gestures making a joke indicating he had done something wrong." (Full text of April Magolon's Donald Duck suit)

Magolon is suing Disney for $50,000.

The lawsuit against Walt Disney Parks & Resorts was filed in Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas on Dec. 30, 2009. No hearings are scheduled and Magolon has asked for a jury trial.
She also contends that the incident was “one of a long line of continuing, long standing, similar prior incidents” involving the groping of patrons by costumed Disney employees.

Give it a break lady. There was video of the supposed "Tigger incident" and it turned out to be a big load of crap. Just like yourself.

You better have a very good attorney April, and I do mean very good.  Disney has very good representation due to the fact that many believe they can fleece the amusement park for what might amount to inconvenience for many big corporations.  If this truly happened, more power to you, if it didn't, withdraw your complaint and run! When my sisters and I were hit by a drunk driver at the intersection leaving Disneyland in Anaheim, California, we couldn't believe how prompt and caring the staff of Disneyland were.  The employees, both security and medical went out of their way to help us.  Since our car was destroyed, security offered to drive us home to San Diego.I have friends who worked for Disneyland.  First and foremost, Disneyland is suppose to be the World's happiest place.  Employees are trained to help the visitor have a great visit.  I personally find April's story hard to believe.  Why did she not contact security or a supervisor while she was still at the Park?

GIVE ME A BREAK!!! This woman waits 2 years to file a complaint? I live in the Orlando area and our local news reported they don't even know if the alleged person in costume was male or female (most of the time donald is a female) and that the woman never said anything to Disney management. The characters have no less than 1 person standing next to them the entire time they are out (which isn't a long period of time). The assistant helps them out. This woman is completely full of crap! I hope Disney sues her butt!!!!

Gag me with a fork ! This bimbo April is just looking for a 50 k windfall. Don't give it to her but countersue 50 k. How ridiculous, sweating, nightmares, indigestion from some costumed character who perhaps inadvertantly brushed against her tit ???? Come on give me a break. I worked at Disney years ago, can't say it cannot happen, but very unlikely !

A pattern of this behavior at Disney?  Doubtful.  More likely we have a woman here who's looking for a quick buck even if it means demeaning the characters of Disney that children all around the world have come to love.  I've been to Disney.  It would be nearly impossible for any of the characters in costume to "grope" anyone given their huge gloves and thick outfits. Way to go April.  You are today's "THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD!"

Really! He groped you! Is that the best story you can come up with for 50k? Really, is this a dream? Wake up April, you didn't win the lottery either. This is the most ridiculous lawsuit to ever hit Disney and her lawyer must not understand english because if he did he wouldn't even try this case.

Hope she has led a very uprught and stellar life, because Disney's attorneys have probably been on every social networking site, can tell you what was in her high school yearbook, and who she went to her first dance with.  She had better not had anyone take a risque picture of her.  Wish her luck.

as a molest serviver i was to thank Magolon for her bravory. After it happened to me i was embarrased and shocked and couldn't tell anyone. Had to get therapy for years to just stop the nightmares. If your reading this Magolon keep fighting.....fight for the ones that went through what we went thru.
