The heads of Arab states participating in Doha summit condemned Israel for its invasion of Gaza in a strong word never seen in an Arab initiated meeting before. The meeting also asked Israel to stop aggression and accept, unilaterally, the cease fire and allows humanitarian aid to reach the Palestinians in Gaza.

The final communique of the summit asked all Arab states who have relation with Israel to freeze their relation. The final communique also praised Gaza population for the defense of their land and dignity.

At the same time, leaders participating in the one day conference reiterated that Israeli leaders  should be brought before an international war crime tribunal.

The meeting set up Gaza Fund in order to collect funds necessary for Gaza reconstruction. While some non Arab leaders were also present in the conference, leaders of Saudi Arabia and Egypt rejected the invitation. The summit was called by the Emir of Qatar.

More details from this article:

The move announced on Friday followed calls by Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian president, and Khaled Meshaal, the exiled leader of Hamas, for all Arab nations to cut ties with Israel.

Addressing leaders at an emergency Arab summit in Doha, the Qatari capital, al-Assad declared that the Arab initiative for peace with Israel was now "dead".

He said Arab countries should cut "all direct and indirect" ties with Israel in protest against its offensive in Gaza.

What ties? What else would anyone with any informed knowledge expect from these misguided people?

What about their crimes? Just cuz they got oil doesn't excuse their barbarity.
