It seems John McCain has one of two choices. Either he can
wholeheartedly embrace the values voters in the Republican Party,
offering to compromise on each of the demands they have made of his
campaign to woo there support, thus potentially alienating the
moderates and the independents that he has styled himself the champion
of, or completely distance himself from the religious right, letting
them stay at home on the gamble that he can win enough independents to
make up the difference of the votes he will need.
But could help be coming and could it in fact be coming from the most unlikely of sources in the most unlikely of ways?
