Arizona lawmakers Pass New Law Makeing It  Illegal To Picket At Funerals

     Lawmakers in Arizona have passed an emergency bill to prevent a protest from being held by the Westboro Baptist Church near the funeral of the 9-year-old Christina Taylor Green, who was one of six people who were killed by alleged gunman Jared Loughner. 

    The legislation passed  with votes of vote 29-0 in the Senate and 58-0 in the House .Members of the Westboro Baptist Church are going to picket Christina  Green funeral. 

          The bill, which takes effect immediately, makes it a misdemeanor to conduct a protest or picket 300 feet from a funeral in a move that targets the Kansas church, which where planning to protest Christina  Green funeral
   
     Fred W. Phelps, leader of the anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church along with his followers have regularly picketed the funerals of troops killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, is praising the killings in Tucson.
 
        Some of their signs they have carried in the past have read " GOD SENT THE KILLER " , " ABORTION IS MURDER " and  " THANK GOD FOR DEAD SOLDIERS" These hateful church members thanked  God for the six Arizona shooting deaths .

       Westboro Baptist Church members profess to be Christians but don't act like Christians. They have picketed funerals of dead soldiers. They are anti gay, anti catholic. They seem to hate everyone.
