Furthermore, as a future healthcare employee, how am I supposed to violate my HIPPA oath by denying care to a person in dire need of care? Sure, I may discover the patient is an illegal alien. So.... am I to allow this patient to suffer.... or even die. Nope! Above anything else, I am a HUMANITARIAN. I WOULD NEVER DENY A PATIENT THE CARE I BELIEVE THEY DESERVE JUST FOR BEING LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE IN THE PRESENCE OF A CAPABLE PROVIDER (AND I WILL BE CAPABLE!)
