The Arlene Berry Death Cover-up...!
The two Cancer QUACKS responsible for Arlene Berry's death

Dr. JORDAN, Edward Henry Dr. Spiller, Mark Arthur
...physicians with a propensity for iatrogenic neglect and for
My wife was murdered on the order of Dr. Edward Henry Jordan to cover-up medical stupidity. He treated her over the telephone, unseen, while sitting at home watching TV. He ordered a brain damaging neuroleptic drug following administration of morphine sulphate in the face of an undiagnosed and untreated hyperglycemia, hypokalemia, and hyponatremia resulting in endocrine crisis and/or metabolic derangement. Notably, she had been given penicillin based medicines and sulfonamides such as Bactrim (Septra DS) and CIPRO (cyproflaxin) on the days before. Looking over the chart it is clear that obtaining a 'no code' status in the face of immune mediated adversities by reason of his failure to attend, diagnose and treat accordingly was the next essential step in executing her death. This is an order denying medical intervention in emergency situations. The 'no code' as evidenced in this case by a "Nature Code 0" was ordered by Dr. Jordan, without family knowledge or consent when the patient's condition began to rapidly deteriorate. Within a few hours following her transfer from the Kirkland and District Hospital to the Sudbury Regional Hospital my wife was declared as having met with 'brain death criteria' on the basis of a paltry CT while under the care of Drs. Sauvé and Adegbite. Concerns have arisen with the retrieval of organs for transplantation due to inconsistencies with respect to clinical criteria for confirming complete cessation of brain function and therefore brain death in the ethical declaration of brain death. Organ transplantation is premised on professional and public acceptance that the donor is dead and that the cessation of all brain function persists for an appropriate period of observation. The diagnosis of brain death allows organ donation or withdrawal of support.
The diagnosis of brain death is dependent upon the exclusion of certain conditions without which the diagnosis of brain-death cannot be considered.

This is the stuff that nightmares are made of !!!

meverett, has this doctor been tried in court? Is there additional information you could provide?
at 07:00 on August 18th, 2007
meverett, I think your story has potential but needs some improvement. I've got a few suggestions, and if you give them a try, I'd be happy to remove this flag.
I wasnt sure what was newsworthy in this story. News should always be about posting current stuff - new things you've discovered.
Please review What Makes News News. It can really help ify ou follow the old "W5" news formula -- making sure you have answered the questions: Who? What? Where? When? And Why? (You might want to check out our J-Tips for more help.)
This sounds like a personal crusade against one doctor. Can you put this into a news context?
Has a lawsuit been filed? That would be news.
Although
I'm sorry for your loss, and have experienced mis-medication myself,
I'd also like to warn you that publishing these kinds of claims, in the
U.S. at least, could be construed as libel. That's a very conservative
view, of course, but I wanted you to be aware of the burdens and
responsibilities of publishing on a news site.
One suggestion: you could write a news piece focused on CILL and an incident. Then add your personal experience as context.

This doctor ordered my wife's death in the year 2000 to cover-up a
whole chain of medical negligence. I have been on his case ever since
and to this day he has remained silent. He is a sinister doctor with a
history of wrongdoing who so happens to have friends in high places.
Pass it on for what its worth.

What is wrong with the medical review board, can't they hear what
people are telling them.Do they ever check on quacks like this and how
did this guy ever get a licence to practice medicine. I certainly feel
for the people as well as myself who leaves, when he is on, his nurse
sharon tells me what kind of person this man hires. She should of been
fired from her last job. Alot of miners fell do to her dippy ways. What
a great team, I would rather go to our vet instead. I know we are
hardup for drs. but come on we can do better with student drs. They do
not kill you do lack of knowledge, pregnant women cannot fool him as
they have a budge in their belly. pretty hard to miss!

caring patient and attentive he was great duringdelivery also and

have our specialities and the man is not God he does not decide our

I don't know anyone who will stay at emerg if they find out that Dr.
Jordan is there. Not one has had a good experience when seeing him, and
usually you have to go back to see someone else. He does not listen to
you nor does he care to.He is the worst doctor ever and his license
should be revoked!!!

Doesn't know his limitations as a General Practioner. Very uncaring,
shouldn't be a doctor. Refuses to consult with specialist and puts his
ego in front of his patient's well-being. Told a family member that
there was no treatment for her gout; she seen another doctor and
received the treatment she desparately needed. (was in a wheelchair and
couldn't walk due to the gout pain when she seen Jordon). Family member
went to the hospital twice in one week for chest pains and he did not
treat her underlying cause or consult with her cardiologist. Told her
she would be wasting her time if she went to her specialist. The third
time she went to the hospital, she was thankfully seen by another
doctor. Was flown to Sudbury immediately for heart surgury. Would have
died waiting for Jordan to diagnose or consult. I truly believe that he
has no respect or dignity for the elderly. If you have an elderly
family member that needs treatment from Dr. Jordan, be there to
advocate on their behalf.

weren,t good enough. Went to another Dr. and found out I had gout. He

DR. Jordan should only work with pregnant woman and children because he
is exceptional in that area. He was wonderful when I was pregnant with
my one and only son, very gentle and kind. When in labour he was by my
side, pushing with every passing minute!! In the end I had a c-section
and everything went great. Afterwards he came to see how we all were
doing and he handled my son as if it was his own. I thank you Dr.
Jordan for the warmth you brought to the 3 most painful days of my
life!

I have very bad back problems. Dr. Jordon prescribed me pills without
looking at my file. It turns out these pills made my ulcers bleed and
cause problems in my bowels. Now; there is a chance I might have cancer
all because he didn't look at my chart. Also; a few years ago I went in
for my stomach again and instead of helping me he tried flirting with
me. I think he is a very unfit doctor and shouldn't be in our
hospital.

Personally I think Dr Jordan is a Wonderfull Doctor. He is currently my
pre-Natal Physician and I DO not have a single complaint about him. He
has been extremely helpful and kind throughout my entire pregnancy.
When a loved one is taken away from us suddenly it hurts very much, but
it is an act of nature. You cannot place the blame on any one person
especially your doctor. Remember they went to Medical school not
miracle School.

My grandfather had an operation which got rid of the anurism in his
aorta, after he came home from sudbury, he was supposed to go up to see
Dr. Jordan for a follow up. When he did this he was ot feeling well(did
not look well at all) and was SUPPOSED to get a blood test, but I guess
Dr. Jordan didn't feel the need for it. Not a few hours after my
grandfather went home he died at the age of 64. I feel that if Dr.
would have given him a blood test or even looked at him, he would have
known that something was wrong. It ended up that when the operation was
done, as tube was placed inside him and it ended up rubbing against his
bowels, and created a hole. I think that Dr. Jordan's license should be
revoked, and he should not be able to practice EVER again. My grandpa
was taken away from em because of you at too much of a young age.

It is awfully sad to see this doctor still in practice.. He has no time
for his patience, nor does he even care about them, as we are all just
another number for him to submitt to OHIP>> Too many mistakes to

This person killed my sister-in-law, I have no doubt. Said her back
pain was job related and should get other work. She died of lung cancer
that was not diagnosed in time. Only in her early 50's with 4 children.
She went to see him many times with the same ailments. She got the same
answer and he kept sending her home. He won't be able to send her home
anymore. Should be kicked out of practice.

If you are looking for a wonderful Baby Doctor may I suggest Dr. Pace
in New Liskeard, he is absolutely wonderful and knows what he is doing.
Unfortunately Dr. Jordan will continue to practice medicine in Kirkland
Lake and poor innocent people will fall into his unprofessional hands.
What a crime

he doens't know what he's doing...nice man outside of work...grew up
just a couple streets away from him and his family, but as a doctor,
he's a complete quack. He recently delivered a baby and made the mother
push before she was dialated, she can no longer have children and he
also neglected to tell another mother of the absense of a heartbeat in
her unborn child until just before she was shipped to Timmins and
District hospital to deliver a still born child. Very neglectful and
does not know how to properly diagnose a patient, almost let my step
dad die after a fall that broke open his skull and caused massive
internal bleeding, he left the ER and they were forced to call in
another doctor shortly after my step dad arrived...he should not be
working anymore. I whole heartedly support and agree with the man who
lost his wife...if I can help, i most certainly will.

Is friendly but seems to not really care about the needs of the
patient. Diagnoses without testing and never double checks his

My daughter had a reaction to eye mekeup resulting in a stye secondary
to blepharitis of the eye lid. She went to the emerge and Dr. Jordan
was on. He was very reluctant to prescrime an antibiotic eye ointment.
He insisted it was an ear infection. How does a family doctor
diagnostically confuse an eye infection with an ear infection?

I was told by Dr. Jordan that my irregular pulse was all in my head,
(he didn't feel my pulse nor did he hook me up to an ECG) Later I was
diagnosed by a cardiologist as having benign but very frequent PVCs
(every 3rd beat)

This "doctor" is unwilling to explain reasons for diagnosis and
treatment likely because he is unable. The most recent "Jordan
diagnosis" was a couple of weeks ago when a friend was told her
deteriorating knee problem was caused by drinking too much water. She
has been seeing a specialist about this and is waiting for surgery. She
was looking for temporary relief and no, cutting back on the water
didn't help. And btw. when doctor Jordan recommends you chew advil for
migraines, don't do it. It can cause severe burns to the oral mucosa.

5 years ago I ended up in Emergency. I was in the most pain I ever was
(I gave birth to 3 kids naturally with no pain killers gas or anything)
He said I was constapated and then sent me home, the next day it was
worse, I went up and again he was in emergency. Again he said I was
constapated and sent me home even though I begged him and told him that
I could poo but not pee. Then the next morning I could not barely walk
I could not stand and then, I went to emergency, Dr. Spiller was on he
told me I had kidney stones and admitted me. I feel that if Dr.jord had
listened to me I would not have suffered as long as I did.

I'm not sure the additional comments solve the problem. In making the claim that the doctor ordered your wife's death, you state an opinion, but to make it news, you need to tell readers things like if charges were filed against the doctor, or if an official investigation has been launched against him.
