KLTV 7 News has learned that there was an armed bank robbery this afternoon, around 1:30pm, at the Capital One Bank on I-20 near Hideaway.

According to the Tyler Morning Telegraph in East Texas, the Smith County law officers have released a description of the suspect in the armed bank robbery this afternoon, and are currently on the scene.
The suspect is described as "a white man in his 40-50s, with a salt and pepper beard, driving a late model silver or gold Mercury Marquis.
The suspect was said to be wearing a black jacket and [has] a black gun."
