General George Casey Jr., the Army chief of staff, said on Sunday that he was concerned that speculation about the religious beliefs of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, accused of killing 12 fellow soldiers and one civilian and wounding dozens of others in a shooting rampage at Fort Hood, could “cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers.”

General George Casey Jr., the Army chief of staff, appeared on "Meet the Press'" on Sunday.

“I’ve asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that,” General Casey said in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union. “It would be a shame — as great a tragedy as this was — it would be a shame if our diversity became a casualty as well.”

It is reassuring that the Army Chief is concerned for Muslim troops .... but he should also be concerned that there are no more Hasans bent on committing jihad in the U.S. military.

How many more Americans will be killed because of political correctness?

I doubt the families that have just been devastated are worried about his concerns.  He needs to be having meetings to set up "committees' like the BG always does to discuss how to target these lone wolfs.  A muslim in the US military is not really a fit. but it will take more tragedies before someone will  admit it and then only in a closet for we must ..WE MUST BE P.C.

The gates have been opened and there is no going back

even greater tragedy if their diversity causes more casualties.

Tragedy or Scandal?
The brain-addled “diversity” of General Casey will get some of us killed, and keep all of us cowed.
