One Person Has Died After a Shooting at Arrowhead Mall in Oklahoma

It is unknown at this time what the motive was or how may shooters were involved in a shooting Saturday afternoon at the Arrowhead Mall in Oklahoma.

Police were called to the scene at about 4:24 pm local time when they received reports that gunfight had broken out inside the mall. Police arrived on the scene and evacuated the mall.

No one is still allowed in to the area or too close to the building.

It is not known how many shooters there were; some reports state that there could have been as many as three shooters, while others just state there was more than one.  It is also not known if the shooters had a target or if they were shooting at each other.

At least one of the six people shot in the mall has died according to the Muskogee News, and other shooting victims have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. A helicopter had to be flown in to take one of the victims to Tulsa for treatment. Other victims have been taken to other nearby hospitals. It is not know in what condition the other victims are in at this time or if any of them are critical.

The victims have been identified, but no names have been released until their family members have been notified of their injuries.

One witness, Mike Grimes, an automotive worker at Sears in the mall told the Muskogee News that he did hear six shots fired inside the mall.

The shootings occurred at the Arrowhead Mall, which was reportedly evacuated and shutdown by police.

None of the shooters are in custody and police think they may still be loose in the area. The police are currently searching for them.

Looks like a teenage gang warfare, is there no security on the shopping mall?
