Ashlee Simpson and singer/bassist Peter Wentz are engaged. That's right, they have taken the plunge. Look out world, it's another celebrity couple in the making. It seems that Pete got up his nerve, dropped to one knee and managed the question, all while the couple was in Colorado.

A family friend stated: “She has an amazing ring, and they are so in love.” Ashlee has parental approval which is a bit surprising in that sister, Jessica Simpson had such a lousy go of things. Oh well, the altar calls and this time Ashlee will be saying "I Do."
