JERUSALEM (CNN) -- The driver of a backhoe was shot and killed after he drove the construction machine over a number of vehicles near the Jerusalem hotel where Barack Obama is scheduled to stay Tuesday night, according to police.

The backhoe used in the attack sits behind a car Tuesday in downtown Jerusalem.

The construction vehicle struck several other vehicles, including a bus, before the driver was shot and killed by an Israeli border policeman and a civilian, a government statement said.

One person was "moderately to seriously wounded" and four others sustained minor injuries in Tuesday's attack, the statement said, citing Jerusalem's police chief.

The statement immediately labeled the incident a terrorist attack.

A witness said he saw the machine overturn two cars near the hotel in downtown Jerusalem, where the U.S. presidential candidate will be staying after he arrives in Israel. Obama is in Jordan at the moment.

The incident comes three weeks after a similar attack in Jerusalem in which a Palestinian construction worker rammed a front-end loader into a string of vehicles, killing at least three people before Israeli police shot and killed him.

Please note djermano did not contribute to this story, and that the photo was used from a previous article I had written. Sometimes NowPublic gives the wrong impression that people helped stories when other authors use their photo's. I did not and was not aware of the story.

That is actually a problem that one may appear to support something if they don't and do not even know so! Why it is better to use one owns Photos I think or at least ask!

Every one is doing it though or at least half here are! So please do not take this personal politisite. It just happens to come up here! Sorry!! The same problem came up here on this story: http://www.nowpublic.com/world/parliamentarians-sale-members-flash-stack-illegal-money-lok-sabha#comment-133266

Hope that may help!

Hi, that can be a problem with the "stock photo" system NP has. When someone adds a photo, it gets tagged with their user name. So when someone else adds it to another story, it can look like the original user added it in to that particular story. Most perplexing. Also, because it is tagged with the name, then sometimes a non-photographer gets credit for work done by others. I've seen material posted to blogs and other places off-site where suddenly an AP photo, say, is used with a piece but the credit is given to the NP member who added it to the library! So complex this is!

Really I don't care if he used the Photo, just don't say or suggest I contributed to the story. I have nothing to do with this story.
