United States Attorney General Michael Mukasey is back at work today after fainting while giving a speech at a dinner the night before in Washington.
His staff issued a release saying doctors had ruled out a stroke or cardiac problem as the cause of his collapse.
Attorney General Michael Mukasey was giving a speech Thursday evening at a Federal Society Dinner in Washington when he suddenly collapses right in the middle of this speech.
Sources earlier stated that Mukasey, 67, spent the night at George Washington University Hospital and was active and very alert after his incident.
U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey is ``very active, very alert'' and eager to be released from a hospital today after a fainting spell that caused him to collapse while giving a speech last night in Washington, a spokeswoman said.

How can we be sure it's not a body-double, or a fresh clone they had on standby in the basement ?
I saw the video and it looked like he definately had a stroke to me!
