‘Aunty’ to female Tamil Tigers runs London protests
A Tamil terror chief who allegedly handed cyanide pills to child soldiers is living in a London suburb, the Standard can reveal.
Sri Lankan intelligence officials believe Adele Balasingham, 59, is one of the most senior figures in the remains of the terror group which fought a 26-year war for independence on the island and was defeated last month.
They claim she has played a key role in organising protests by Tamils outside Parliament and want Britain to take action against her.
Sri Lanka's government believes Tamil Tiger leaders abroad are raising funds and procuring equipment which could be used in fresh attacks.
Mrs Balasingham lives in a £500,000 house in New Malden, Surrey. She is the widow of Anton Balasingham, a Sri Lankan with British citizenship who was the chief political strategist of the Tamil Tigers until he died in 2006.
Mrs Balasingham, an Australian-born nurse, met and married him while he was living in London in the Seventies. She became deeply involved in the Tigers' cause - ending up as the leader of its women soldiers and nicknamed "Aunty" on the island.
Adele Balasingham was the unofficial leader of the women soldiers of the LTTE. She fought for the cause of Tamil Eelam along with her spokesman husband Late Anton Balasingham. In helping in the recruitment of Tamil women (some as young as 14) and training them also makes a LTTE terrorist. She did hand over the famed cyanide capsule, which the LTTE leader terrorists never used during their last moments, to the women cadre at a so called passing out parade.
At a time when the Tamil Diaspora is looking around for a leader cum spokes person for Eelam, Adele fits in. She was involved in taking major decisions of the LTTE and now she is suspected of organizing the Tamil protests in London which cost the London Police approximately 9,000,000 British Pounds Sterling.
On the other hand, it is hard to believe that the Tamil diaspora cannot find a leader among them and are depending on a foreigner to lead them. Perhaps, they like to be led by a foreigner.
Scotland Yard has all the information about Adele Balasingham and her terrorist activities. Only time will tell what Scotland Yard will come up with.

You mean she is really a nurse? Under the Florence Nightingale Pledge?
"I solemnly pledge myself before God and in the presence of this assembly, to pass my life in purity and to practice my profession faithfully. I will abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous, and will not take or knowingly administer any harmful drug. I will do all in my power to maintain and elevate the standard of my profession, and will hold in confidence all personal matters committed to my keeping and all family affairs coming to my knowledge in the practice of my calling. With loyalty will I endeavor to aid the physician in his work, and devote myself to the welfare of those committed to my care"

Reminds me of a slightly old story.
Five Bulgarian nurses and one Palestinian doctor had been sentenced to death in Libya for allegedly infecting hundreds of children with HIV deliberately , were freed under a deal between the European Union and Libyan government.
There was a big hue and cry from the US, Bulgaria and French first lady Cecilia Sarkozy played a major role releasing the medics.
The deal was

Do you mean to say, she is HIV positive too? Hmmmm, looking at the photo that is quite a possibility. Better tell the Sri Lankan authorites to check all the girls initiated into suicide and terrorism by her.

This is UNBELIEVABLE. The norms and edicts of the civilized human world dictates that any person engaged in aiding and abbeting terrorism or any such like acts is liable for prosecution. I presume that is a prime edict of all so called civilized countries of the civilized west.
I am flabbergasted as to how a person involved in promoting suicide whilst advocating mayhem and havoc to young girls, and especially towards towards genocide of other groups (ethnic or religous), is tolerated and lives in luxury in the UK.
Can anyone with knowledge of the so called international law, human rights or even crimes involving juveniles, explain to me, how this woman continues to live with impunity, in a country which is so concerned about crimes against humanity, as has been expressed by that 'know all do gooder', Milliband?
Is there any person who can tell me how this hag can be brought to justice by bringing her before the British Judiciary or the International Criminal Court of Justice?
I promise and am willing to muster support and assist any person with all what is necessary to bring this woman, whose actions are not too dissimilar to that of Charles Manson the mass murderer, to book, and put away for life in some god foresaken penitentiary.
