Aussie man glued to toilet in 'sick' prank

Authorities in far north Queensland are outraged after a "sick joke" forced the humiliating rescue of a man who became stuck to the seat of a shopping centre toilet.

Police and community leaders have appealed for public help to find the prankster or pranksters responsible for the incident, which resulted in the 58-year-old man being taken to hospital.

Ambulance officers were called about 10.30am (AEST) on Saturday to rescue the man after he sat on toilet seat which had been smeared with a fast-acting adhesive.

He was forced to undergo the humiliation of leaving the Cairns Central shopping centre with the seat still attached to his behind, in full view of a busy crowd of Saturday morning shoppers.

Its best to put toilet paper on the seat, take no chance as this could be the new fun for crazy idiots with half a brain. Unfortunatly there are many of them in society.

This isn't funny! I definately don't want to walk out of a busy shopping centre with a toilet seat attached to me! It will be embarrasing..... and I think those prankster's are sick minded!

My best friends little girl had this happen to her at the cinema toilets. This isn't funny or clever, its down right stupid!

Ha that looks soo fake honestly..x you can tell because no one would exactly put a tiolet seat in the middle of nowhere and the man wouldnt be reading a book like that because you would be more worried about getting of the tiolet seat..people are so dum honestly..x thiisz is fake..they just put a picture of a man on a toilet seat. how pathetic honestly

Are you stupid? It's an unrelated picture to spruce up the page, not a picture of the victim! It was a 58-year old man. Does the guy on the john there look 58 to you?Learn to read, for chrissake.
