Australia: Perth Police ignore witness report re:murdered lawyer.
An eye witness gave details of a distressed woman seen trying to escape from a 2 people on the Tonkin Highway the same evening Supreme Court Lawyer Corryne Rayney went missing. The witness reported the incident to 'Crime Stoppers' the next morning but as there had been no reports of any women in any trouble, Crime Stoppers decided it was a false alarm. Corryne Rayney was reported missing 2 days later by her husband. 6 days later her body was recovered from a shallow grave in King's Park. The witness reported the incident again after recognising the murdered woman's picture on TV fitted the description supplied earlier. The witness has sent several emails to the Western Australian police but has been continually fobbed off without a valid reason. Well over a year later, the drama continues to haunt the witness. Not wanting to upset the family unneccessarily, the witness has continually asked to be provided with a clothing description worn by the lawyer when she was abducted, as this would solve any further dispute regarding the matter. The request continues to be ignored. Why those details are not openly provided to the public in the hope of jogging someones memory of the night, remains a mystery to all.

Do you have any links or sources for this story?

Due to the nature of the crime & high stature of the suspect involved with this case the source will remain private until details of the victim's apparel are revealed publically. You will understand if you google the victim's name.

The witness is desperate for answers..

I just meant news articles or any proof that this happened. We appreciate any sources or links to the information so we know it's valid. Telling us to 'google it' is not really an appropriate answer.

The witness identified the woman as wearing a rusty/orange swede looking waist length jacket fringed across the chest. Navy blue pants/ jeans waist high, narrowing at the ankle (old woman style) very black shiny sholder length hair, not streaked as shown in Corynne Rayney's news report photo. Full bodied hair that kicks out at the sholders, not straight down as in the news photo. He has checked every news report on the case to find clothing details but they have never been mentioned. Hard to believe the police didn't mention what she was wearing when she went missing? The witness focussed on remembering a detailed description of the odd person in the trio.
