Aside from the well-known Rogers, Telus and Bell Mobility Canada will see new providers. As the auction currently stands as reported by wirelessnorth.ca the new providers are (likely -- it's not over yet) mostly Globalive (seems to be a totally new company), and Shaw (best known for its cable service).

In Quebec, a mysterously named 9193-2962 Quebec Inc (likely to be Quebecor/Videotron as reported in this forum thread) has most of the new frequency.

Aside from Quebec (and Nova Scotia and about half of Manitoba), Globalive can cover almost everyone in Canada.

Shaw is strongest in BC, Alberta and Manitoba.

We will report more as the auction closes, likely this week.
