Mr. Les, our Solicitor General and Top Cop as well as Public Safety Minister, certainly makes one think how laughable both official titles bestowed on him are in direct contradiction of his actions in providing Law and Order and Public Safety, recently spouting to the media that they are now putting a name to chronic offenders such as Super Criminals so beat Cops will be able to recognize these repeat offenders.  Even the blind, deaf and dumb can pick out a Super Criminal without the acronym. Labelling criminals as Super Criminals will be a badge of honour amongst the criminals in their Underworld Communities.

Minister John Les' recent media statment to the world now has criminals thinking "Hey British Columbia "IS" the Best Place in the World to Live, what other place on earth allows criminals unfettered advantages to assault and plunder British Columbians relentlessly time and time again, with only a slap on the wrist and perhaps a welfare check and free housing? Beware British Columbian citizens, for they (Criminals) will be coming to British Columbia in droves, the 2010 Olympics will surely be a Cluster #*@+ and open market for them.

British Columbia, the only province, most likely in the free world where Criminals with 24 criminal convictions are still walking the streets, where common sense would dictate that after a second offence and conviction would show the criminal certainly didn't learn anything from his first criminal conviction, or did he?  If the ever lenient BC Court system and it's eternal Justice Catch and Release program  releases criminals  with no time to be served is a lesson learned for any criminal  who knows no jail time for 24 convictions on his criminal acts means the justice system is certainly not working, even the long time criminals and their ever suffering victims know that, as criminals go about their daily criminal activities as Super Criminals, in a sick and twisted role reversal for a decade have become the wardens of society keeping the Public incarcerated for many years to come.  Parents fear to let their children out as swarmings, knifings and drugs etc are the mainstay in the streets and playgrounds.  Woman fear to go out at night when habitual convicted criminals are running free accosting them at every turn or worse with the spate of unsolved murders of women near transitways etc. People in particular the elderly are victims of brutal home invasions, it is later found the criminals had multiple convictions, yet are still free to roam by bleeding heart judges who offer 2 for 1 credits for incarceration if they get any time served.

My final thought

As the Canadian Government sends Canadians to lay down their life in other lands fighting criminal acts and injustices for others, and establish Law and Order, ordinary Canadians facing criminal acts and injustices at home are largely ignored when it comes to British Columbia Law and Order.  Certainly hypocritical if you come to think of it.

Supercriminals need to be placed in an Arctic Fortress of Solitute indefinitely.

Until then, British Columbia Politicians will spout their "Live the British Columbia Dream" Propaganda to the Public and the World that "British Columbia" is the Best Place in the World to Live" . Of course it's only a Dream if you're asleep!

B.C. to offer a la carte help for chronic criminals

VICTORIA - The B.C. government said today it's testing a new way of dealing with criminals who regularly steal cars, deal drugs, commit assaults, or commit other, similar crimes.

Solicitor-General John Les said the idea is to offer prolific offenders -- with 24 or more convictions between the ages of 18 and 24 -- an easy way to gain access to provincial programs such as health care, addictions treatment, mental health, housing and welfare services.

"It will be an a la carte selection of services that will be provided to them in a comprehensive way, in a way we haven't done before, in exchange for their commitment to utilize these services and to stay out of trouble," said Les, adding the program will not cost taxpayers any extra money.

Anyone who can get convicted of a crime twenty-four times before hitting age 25 is clearly a master of time-management, and probably is the walking embodiment of where outreach fails.

Thanks for the comment Jordan, which says it all.

But until voters in this province stop voting  for the sameo two parties, they have no one to blame but themselves.  Both parties have certainly given us enough verbal diaheera on their law and order stance to fill evey jail in the country,
