Israel professing they are a peaceful people, take to the skies with jet fighters along the med as a show of force to show Iran it means business.  Certainly belies their peaceful stance when the lives of Israeli citizens lives are dictated by bloated politicians eager for a standoff against an enemy that has done nothing but mouth off daily for the destruction of Israel.  Certainly school playground antics on both sides should be monitored by a  Neutral Principle who can put  both in the penalty box until they come to their senses. Citizens in both countries just want to get along in their daily lives and not want to fear death when going to the local market for a loaf of bread.

'Ball of fire' if Iran hit

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

DUBAI -- A military strike on Iran could turn the Mid-east into a "ball of fire," the UN nuclear watchdog chief warned yesterday in the wake of Israeli military exercises that may have been meant to show its ability to hit Iran's nuclear sites.

Mohamed ElBaradei, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IRNA), said in an interview aired by an Arab TV station that any military action against Iran could lead the country to a more aggressive stance on its controversial nuclear program.

"In my opinion, a military strike will be the worst ... it will turn the Middle East to a ball of fire," ElBaradei said on Al-Arabiya television.

ISRAELI EXERCISES

Iran yesterday criticized the Israeli exercises. The official IRNA news agency quoted a government spokesman as saying the exercises demonstrate Israel "jeopardizes global peace and security."
