Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, 79, former governor and chief minister of Baluchistan resisted the Pakistan army injustices against the Baluch people.
A former US amabassador to Pakistan, Robert Oakley, had said Bugti was extremely comptent and fit even to rule over any of the states of the sUS. Upon his death, Oakley called Bugti a martyr.
He was killed extra judicially by the Pakistan army air raids on August 26, 2006. The Pakistan army used US-supplied F16 jets to annihilate the popular Baluch leader.
This is a rare audio interview in English.
