Taliban fighters, who have been fighting a war against Pakistani forces, have banned girls education in the areas, which are in their control. This decision of Taliban has been eroding their popularity. Now they have not been enjoying the support of people in tribal areas situated on Pak-Afghan border. A Peshawar-based journalist has written an article on this issue.

It is good to hear of the resistance to the movement based on awareness of it's violation of women's civil rights. Thank you for this informative report.

It is sad and not unacceptable law as everybody have rights to study. I dont thinks Muslim as a religion never put such laws. Taliban makes every one lost and miserable of there life. What they really want to proof for the world as hardcore terrorist. People should not support them and come forward to stop these sort of laws. If people unite for these sort of issues nobody can do anything.
