Bangladeshi woman attacked and takes penis to police as proof

Yesterday, in Dhaka, Bangladesh, a woman defended herself from an attempted rape.  She immediately went down to the police station so they could have the evidence.
The police received the attacker’s penis as proof of the crime.  The woman had managed to cut the man's penis off with a knife during the attack.
The woman filed charges against the man, who id 40 years old, married and has five children.  The woman also stated that the man had been harassing her for six months.
Since the penis is evidence in a crime it has to be kept at the police station until the man’s trial.
The alleged attacker is in the hospital getting treated for his wound.
The police chief, Abul Khaer said the woman "wrapped up the penis in a piece of polythene and brought it to the Jhalakathi police station as evidence of the crime."
Chief Abul also said the man would be arrested after "his condition" improves.
