Bank Robbers Killed After Running Rattan. OK Roadblock

A trio of bank robbers were speeding away from Wright, Oklahoma when they ran a roadblock set up by Highway Patrol just outside of Rattan.

A shootout began as the robbers' car was approaching the roadblock. A contrasting report says that the shooting started after the vehicle ran the roadblock. Two out of the three robbers were killed. The third, a woman, was taken into custody.

The Oklahoma State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident along with the FBI, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation,and the Pushmataha County Sheriff's office.
