Banning High School Shooting: 22-Year-Old Victim Dies

A Shooting Near Banning High School Has Left One Person Dead

ABC7 reports that the shooting took place near Banning High School in Wilmington, and not in San Pedro as they first tweeted.

Details are scarce and information is still coming in, but we do know that a 22-year-old man was shot in the head and was transported to hospital, where he has died from his injuries. 

The shooting happened near the corner of Q Street and Avalon Boulevard, and the suspects are still at large. Police think the shooting is most likely gang related. No one else was injured.

They have not released his name or any more information at this time.
