The White House Released The Barack Obama Long-Form Birth Certificate On Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Here is a Barack Obama Long-Form Birth Certificate Photo

Here it is: the moment birthers have been waiting for: US President Barack Obama released his long-form birth certificate on Wednesday April 27, 2011.

The White House released the President Obama birth certificate to quell the growing number of critics who claim he was not born in the US and therefore ineligible to be president.

The president talked briefly about the release of the Barack Obama Long-Form Birth Certificate release:  "We do not have time for this kind of silliness," said Obama. "I've got better stuff to do."

Critics of birthers can now point to the Obama long-form birth certificate and say definitely that all the theories about Barack Obama being born in Kenya are for the birds.

Meanwhile, critics of Obama may react one of two ways. They might criticize Obama for waiting so long to release his birth certificate. They also might analyze the birth certificate and wonder if it's authentic.

Here is the Barack Obama Long-Form Birth Certificate Photo

Ah the wonderers, the skeptics. They will never be converted, nor will they ever lose their bigotry, racism, right-wing conservatism that spells stupidity. 25% of Americans might be stupid, and are still wondering.

YankeeJim...using your own superior powers of "know-it-all", why didn't Obama simply produce this when asked 3 1/2 years ago?  It would have avoided all of the speculation, yes?  However, Obama being the Chicago dirtbag that he is, he knows how to play the system, and of course the Libertards OWN the media, so no one ever vetted him about this.  Interesting that McCain had to show his long form birth certificate to prove HE was an American, since he was born on a military base. Count yourself as one of those 25% as the Libertards flush this country down the toilet....well done!

The administration should have left the Right Wing conspiracy theorists baying at the moon. There is no convincing the dullards that have clung so fiercely to this nonsense.

The President may now be called upon to provide a Baptismal certificate to prove he is a Christian and proof he is not the anti Christ as there is an overlap of all of these beliefs within conservative circles and the Republican Party and its base, the TEA Party.

Tactically, this may have thrown a monkey wrench in the machinery of conservatives and Republicans pushing legislation regarding birth certificate use for gauging prospective candidates' ability to be included on the ballots.

Now, with the release of the really, REALLY real and legitimate LONG form, it will be dissected by the loons, with some revelation of an imagined smudge mark that indicates a forgery or some other such lunacy, which is the manner in which the OFFICIAL Hawaiian short live birth certificate was met when it was presented.

Johnny Come Lately to the birther party celebrant, the Donald, has already interjected the'We gotta see if it's real' bug a boo out there so, let the madness continue!

Some nut cases are now questioning whether Hawaii was a state at the time of Obama's birth, etc, etc. Ha!

See, Jim, this is EXACTLY to what I was referring re: this black hole of silliness!

They've been raising that denial since 2007!

Like I said in my piece on Right Wing madness, some of those now raising this weren't paying attention to it when it first popped up so, now, thanks to Donald Trump, it's come back full circle, retracing all of the previous steps, with article after article pointing out when that particular lunacy was dismissed with some new rebuttal .... over and over and over and over ....!

After all, they've managed to keep this going for at least 4 years.

Why should it stop now?

This is just so wrong on any number of levels. Nothing that the President does will convince the barking mad, lunatic fringe of Obama's legitimacy. Trump and a few other fringe birthers, might be placated; on this issue, maybe. Then it will be on to his transcripts from Columbia and Harvard, along with his admissions essays, SAT, LSAT's and whatever other documents will prove Obama is the "other." The underlying racism, ( I know, you can't accuse Trump and the like of being racists, they all have black friends), is becoming more obvious by the day.

This has been nothing more than an blatant effort to de-legitimize the election of Obama. Can't beat him at the ballot, beat him in the  public opinion arena. That's some liberal media we've got. No?

Hey Nanute!

Yeah, the number of levels of lunacy and bigotry approaches the possibility of being infinite!

I was watching when the President made the announcement explaining his rationale for releasing the birth certificate. He said that although he made a speech re: HIS vision for moving the country forward, which was in many respects in opposition to Republican Congressman Paul Ryan's plan, the majority of the press coverage offered by the media was the Donald's pompous bluster about the birth certificate.

Sadly, while acknowledging that MOST American are not absorbed by the fantasy of his alien birth, the President seems to have hope he might be able to comb a few stragglers from the birther herd with logic. Ain't gonna happen.

Donald Trump has guaranteed that the American public and the world will be listening to all of the ongoing nonsense about birtherism that will result from Trump's dragging the issue prominently into the 2012 election cycle.

Please note the lunacy continues among the Right Wing.

And now it's on to the next "Trumped" up charge.

Indeed, Nanute.

Most likely Trump is feeling full of himself and now thinks he can throw his weight around, demanding any and all kinds of attention for whatever he fancies.

Those that say that all that was needed to be done was release the much clamored for long certificate years ago refuse to acknowledge that this lunatic quest by the Right Wing, yeah, Hilary's camp may have started it but, this crap has found a prominent place of HONOR among conservatives, Republicans, conservative/Republican leaning independents and the TEA Party, with ALL of them appearing to be nearly interchangeable, CAN NOT BE SATISFIED!

The proof can be found, even now, in the Right Wing blogosphere's reaction to the long form.

Coverage of the document's release was aired shortly before 10:00AM EST.

What time is it now? 4:35PM. Going on for hours now, already, many of the critiques and dismissals of the short form are being used against the long form.

Didn't everyone see that coming? Guess not, evidently with some person(s) in the Obama administration hoping against hope that this goofy quest was at least based on some very small minute particle of logic with which one could reason with the document's release. Sorry, no such luck.

The idea that this is the President's fault for not addressing the nuttiness sooner has no credibility. As he said, he was releasing ADDITIONAL information. He'd put up the short form all ready OVER 4 YEARS AGO!

Finding an old photo of Barack Obama, preferably still attached to his mom to assure everyone he was not some sort of changeling as a result of a switch after his birth, emerging as Mrs. Obama holds a newspaper with the date of his birth ( .... of course, that might be thought to be a gag/made up paper and naturally, the actual shot of the baby is problematic since Barack Obama has changed a bit in appearance since growing to adulthood ....), with Mrs. Obama posed near some easily identifiable Hawaiian land mark, would do the trick, wouldn't it?

If we're lucky, maybe we can find that photo!

Until that picture is found, there is no conclusive proof that .... ! And hundreds of thousands of people embrace such stupidity.

Sorry, my patience has been worn thin and I can no longer be polite with this nonsense.

I am amazed he bothered to respond about this. It seems silly in the first place.

Smart you are. Smarter still is President Obama who played them like fiddle.

I almost forgot: Thank heaven the birth certificate wasn't released on April 1st.!

Personally, I think that, as utterly idiotic as the Birthing movement is, the debate around it is even more idiotic.  Yes, the Constitution only allows natural-born citizens to become President, but I think that clause is ridiculous anyway.  I've actually been attempting to get enough states to call for a convention to introduce an amendment which would remove that restriction.  I understand why that clause was originally there, but seriously; I've yet to see an intelligent argument for why that should still be there.  For me, the question of Obama's citizenship is a complete irrelevance, because it's based on something that shouldn't exist anyway.

So, using your logic, anyone from anywhere should be able to come in and run our country???  Are you INSANE???  Who could you see running our country?  Who would have the best interest of our country at heart better than a naturally born citizen???  If you take away that rule, then you open Pandora's Box....yeesh!

A warm and fuzzy result of the release of the President's long form birth certificate, concerning the family of the obstetrician that delivered the infant Barack Obama, Dr. David Sinclair:

Dr. David Sinclair's six children grew up accustomed to him often leaving home at all hours and holidays to deliver babies.

On Wednesday, the late Honolulu obstetrician's family members were "blown away" and "honored" to learn that a newborn he delivered in 1961 was President Barack Obama -- a discovery that came after the White House released a copy of the president's original birth certificate.

Below Obama's mother's signature was one which appeared to read: "David. A. Sinclair."

"It's my husband's signature," said his widow, Ivalee Sinclair, 82, from her downtown Honolulu office. She held up a copy of the birth certificate she printed from the Internet and pointed to the signature, recognizing his familiar left-handed cursive.
