this is just wrong how can a leader of a nation conflicted in 2 wars be awarded a peace price. there are people out there with less power doing more honoust things for the porpouse of peace in the world. Nobel Prize for sale people. regards Thomas

Obama has done some good starts since his presidency. He has to do a lot to bring about peace, democracy & better livlyhood in the USA & poorer nations of Africa & Asia. It seems too early for nobel peace award. Any way, it will inspire him towards building better world together with others.

Yes, President deserves this award if for nothing else, for being able to go about service to this country without allowing the attempts to distract him from his mission--to bring this country into its rightful place among what can be termed Super Powers. As an African American, I have never been more proud to be who I am as I have been since November 8, 2008. God bless you and protect you and your family Mr. President.
