Barack Obama :Public Option:Health Care Reform : The New Deal

Barack Obama's health care reform policy must be pushed through Congress . The public option will be included . There is no other way . Much like FDR pushed his New Deal through Congress  during the great depression , the Federal government faces the unenviable task of making decisions and expanding it's powers for the good of the people . The unemployment rate  will get worse I'm sorry to say . Obama's first new deal was the stimulus package that was  used to stabilize banks , support  Wall Street , and hand out unemployment benefits to millions  . The government swallowed as many banks as it  could and sold the others .
