Barbados virgins (VS029) 2 of 3

I like taking pictures of flaps...arriving at BGI Bridgetown Barbados, on "Pretty Woman"
with the pleasant airport building behind, airport security didn't like pics though.

Barbados had heavy cloud on the West side of the island both times I was there.
fortunately I was transitting so I did not have to queue much at immigration at BGI.
my flights I just had were all on time or early which was a relief,
but I couldn't check my case all the way through, so had to recheck in transit,
of course my transit point was Barbados, tough life huh :o)

on departure I was told my bag would be checked all the way through, but I got to BGI (Barbados) and went to check in for the onward flight, and they said it wasn't (!) so I had to go back through customs to arrivals and reclaim and take the bag all the way back to departures for the BGI-POS portion, fortunately they were pretty cool about letting me "backtrack" through customs, try doing that in Houston!! no way!!

I like to catch the spoilers open after landing. It's just me, okay :o)
on this flight I sat next to a nice couple who lived on the coast in my own country - sadly I failed to get the address of their beach house - doh!! :o)
our return flight coincided as well so I sat next to them on the return flight.
The plane left after dusk though so no sunset pics this time...
