UPDATE: BreakingNews quotes KNSD-TV saying, "San Diego casino gunman, one other person dead in apparent murder-suicide."

An unnamed suspect opened fire from a rifle and took a number of people hostage at the offices of the Barona Gaming Commission and Casino in San Diego County at 10 AM this morning. All hostages have already been released. It is not clear if there have been any injuries or deaths.

It is believed that the suspect is a former employee. There are reports suggesting the shooter was fired in November for unknown reasons. Police say the suspect is still barricaded inside the office building. All casino operations have been temporarily halted, and gamers are not allowed in.
